During Nikee’s pregnancy with twins, one baby tragically passed away in the womb after two months. Doctors warned that continuing the pregnancy could endanger her life and recommended ending the pregnancy. Trusting God, Uttam and Nikee chose to pray and believe for the life of the surviving baby. Through months of pain, infections, hospital visits, and constant medical supervision, they held on to God’s promises..
As the delivery date approached, another burden weighed heavily on Uttam’s heart. He had no money to pay for the C-section and medical expenses. His only option was to borrow the money and spend months, or even years, repaying the debt little by little. As a full-time missionary with a limited income, he wondered how he would care for his family while carrying such a financial burden.
When Gloria Wesley International Foundation learned of their situation, we were honored to stand with this faithful missionary family. Through the generous support of our donors, we were able to provide financial assistance for their medical needs. What seemed like an overwhelming burden was lifted from Uttam’s shoulders, allowing him to focus on caring for his family and continuing to serve the Lord with joy Then came the answer to countless prayers.
On July 17, Nikee safely delivered their baby by C-section. Both mother and baby are healthy, and the doctors were amazed that the baby was born without any medical complications. What once seemed impossible became a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness and the power of prayer.
This miracle is a reminder that when God’s people come together in faith, prayer, and generosity, lives are changed. Your compassion not only helped save a family from financial hardship—it encouraged a faithful missionary to continue serving Christ without the crushing weight of debt.
